fact

Control means recovery

An account is not secure merely because its password is strong. You also need protected recovery methods, current devices, backups and a way to regain access if a provider or device fails.

method

Secure the critical path

Start with the email account that resets everything else. Use unique passwords, multi-factor authentication, current software and offline recovery information. Map where identity, finance, work and family records live.

  • Primary email
  • Password manager
  • Banking
  • Phone account
  • Cloud storage
  • Business domains
  • Backups tested
experiment

Use AI with a boundary

Choose one low-risk task. Remove personal and confidential data, ask the model to state uncertainty, then verify the result independently. Record what the model helped with and what still required human judgement.

Evidence to produce

A digital control map and completed security baseline.

Keep personal details private. Print it or store it in a location you control.
